This study introduces a novel workflow for petrophysical reservoir characterization in two geographic areas (A, in South America and G, in North America), integrating core and log data under confining pressure conditions. Porosity and permeability were calibrated to improve the estimation of original oil in place (OOIP), showing reductions between 14% and 22% compared to traditional methods. Core-log calibration showed strong correlation in wells A, with discrepancies in wells G likely due to unmodeled lithological heterogeneities. Sensitivity analysis indicated high dependence on porosity and clay cutoffs. While further validation is recommended, the workflow improve accuracy, reduces execution time, enhances efficiency and provides a valuable tool for hydrocarbon exploration and production decision-making.
