Retraction, correction and erratum policy

PetroRenova Indexed, in accordance with the COPE Retraction Code, undertakes to retract any article that, after the pertinent review during the editorial process, is detected as misconduct in the research due to non-compliance with the ethical and scientific standards of the discipline, redundant publications, plagiarism, conflict of interest, as well as serious and unreliable erroneous data.

The retraction will be made in a transparent manner, the final decision rests with the Editor of the journal. The Editorial Committee will inform the reasons for the retraction to the authors by e-mail and it will be published both on the journal's website and in bibliographic databases. The process to be followed is carried out as shown in the COPE Diagram of retractions.

If small errors are detected that do not significantly affect the content and/or understanding of the article, the author is informed so that he/she can proceed with the correction. If the error depends on the edition or production of the magazine, an erratum is issued and will be published in the following edition.

Conflict of Interest Policy

PetroRenova Indexed ensures that any publication is free from undue influence, of a financial, non-financial, professional, contractual or personal nature, in the submission, review or publication of the work. It therefore requires authors to declare any conflicts of interest they may have in relation to their research. The journal reserves the right to reject any article suspected of containing an undeclared conflict of interest.
